Biography: Born in Osaka, Japan - and not Mexico, as she fervently and frequently claims - 'Peregrina Loca' is really Saeko Chihara, daughter of the legendary Japanese garbage wrestler Gō "Violence Butcher" Chihara. It's one of the worst-kept secrets in professional wrestling that Gō was in cahoots with the Yakuza, and he's presently doing hard time for a string of bizarre and brutal murders committed in the late 90s. Despite his infamy, Gō sincerely loved his daughter, and imparted much of his wisdom and combat training to her before being locked away. He also happened to strike a deal with a Mexican Cartel, smuggling her out of Japan into the vibrant land of Lucha Libre. Wanting to follow in her daddy's footsteps, little Saeko took to this new sport with aplomb, and was rapidly accepted as an attraction well before she was legal age.

Astonishingly, however, the "Violence Butcher" was never a particularly subtle fellow, and Saeko's new 'family' were quite aware of what she was. With Lucha already married to the cartels, it was easy for them to start manipulating this trained Japanese assassin into doing their bidding outside of the ring. She's become a sort of inverse distaff Batman, playing the fan favorite out under the spotlights, and committing complex, criminally-motivated murders in the shadows.

She's never been particularly happy about this, on numerous occasions trying to escape only to get pulled back in. In desperation, she even seduced one of her scumbag overseers and bore his child, further inconveniencing herself - as nobody else gave one solitary shit, and she ended up responsible for a young and very snotty life in addition to everything else. Peregrina Loca, trying her best to live the gimmick and be a good person, finds herself twisted in three; Mother, Murderer, and Maravilla.

The latter has made a name for herself under the bright sun of Mexico City, but old strings remain attached. She's been given a mission that takes her outside of her 'native' country, to the backwash travesty of RAZOR Wrestling - with orders to show no mercy, and under no circumstances get caught. She's resolved to be the best damn babyface she can be, because prison for the rest of her life sounds like a horrible idea for her - and a tragic one for her whiny, clingy daughter. Whom she loves. Honest.

Style: 'South of the Border Strong Style'; a dynamic LuchaResu hybrid characterized by rapid sequences of counter-holds and high flying, punctuated with crunching strikes and brutal slams.

Strengths:
1. Student of the game; she can fly, brawl, and grapple to a high degree, and adapts quickly under pressure. Though primarily an experienced jack-of-all-trades (with all that implies), her deep knowledge pool does make her especially hard to handle in technical contests.
2. Woman of the people; excels in rallying the crowd behind her, and drawing on their energy.
3. Battle-hardened mom; a higher-than-average tolerance for pain, and a steel core when it comes to resisting persistent annoyances and mind games. She has walked through the valley of the song that never ends, and battled the maddening fury of Bebe Tiburón.

Weaknesses:
1. Adrenaline junkie; she can be readily baited into hitting that costly high spot one more time, trying to out-strike the striking specialist, or slam the man twice her size. She's also a sucker for over-playing to the crowd, allowing ample opportunity to play possum and catch her off-guard.
2. Battle with honor (and humanity); técnico to a fault, Pera is just too determined to be the good guy. An almost insultingly easy target for sly cheaters, and will always at least pause to consider a handshake.
3. Hardcore prude; ironically, within the confines of a wrestling match this bad mamá just doesn't seem comfortable twisting her foe in barbed wire or beating them with a baseball bat. Her garbage spots tend to the comedic, and she'll lose a heated 'arms race' every single time.
