In an empty living room, a phone starts buzzing, García´s theme song, Eternal Loneliness by Alex Norre begins to play. García, who was in the middle of taking a cold shower after a day at the gym leaves the bathroom on his way to the living room. As he got closer to the phone he realized that the number started with +34, which meant it had to be an international call back from his home country, Spain. He sighed, and picked up the phone.
The name of the caller was Michael Cross, his old manager, immediately, García blocked the number and tossed his phone away. He began to remember the old days back at his first company. Ichiban Pro Wrestling, a local company that over the years turned into a state company under the name of Andalucía Wrestling.
Back then García´s name was Oryol, a prominent young masked luchador beloved by the crowd. Well at least he was for his first year at the company, fans eventually found a new guy to cheer for, and García was tossed aside. For many months García was only used in the lower card matches, or if he was lucky in the Mid-Card. His resentment for the company grew, as more promises came by. “Do not worry this is just momentary, we will give you a new opportunity soon”, “Sure, we might give you a title match for the next event”, promises that of course were never fulfilled. In his second year at the company García´s mindset started to shift, “Why should I play by the rules if they never favored me?”, “Why should I focus on the fans if they only see us as a momentary attraction before they can hop on the newest ride?”These kind of thoughts kept bothering García until he eventually snapped, on the main event of “Golpe de Gracia” one of Ichiban´s events he interrupted the match, injuring the current champion in the process, picking the belt and throwing his mask aside, the persona of Adam García was born. A match between him and the champion was set, which he won after giving his opponent a low blow while the referee was distracted. For the rest of his stay at Ichiban he was undefeated and unrivaled, even fighting wrestlers from other companies who tried to dethrone him, after his campaign of terror he started to call himself the “Spanish Ace” a name he thought fitted him, as no one in his country was able to take the title from him.
However not everything could be counted as a victory for García, as time came by, his attitude cost him contact with his closest friends, isolating himself in the process [ Making his theme song, Eternal Loneliness, a little bit ironic]. García was completely alone, in a world where everyone wanted to take him down, as time flew by, his contract ran out, losing his championship belt in the process.
For the next couple of months García flew across Europe, winning over opponents of different countries such as UK, Italy, Ireland and Portugal, eventually his time in the European indies caught the eyes of some businessmen as he was approached by Carnage Pro Wrestling director. He did not wrestle there for long, but in his short stay, he learnt about many of his flaws after his first loss in years against Masafumi Satake. With a new arsenal of moves and using his words and cockiness as a means to catch his opponents off-guard, García makes his way in the roster of Razor Wrestling.
