The "workrate" title, the Vanguard Championship stands as the antithisis to it's sister the GRBG Championship. This title is for the pure wrestlers of RAZOR Wrestling. It will only be defended under traditional wrestling stipulations that focus on technical skill and fighting spirit.

The Vanguard Series was set up by The Consortium to establish the first Vanguard Champion. Joey Bryant, along with Kylie Ray, Ace Sky, and Kash Warren survived the Colosseo Match in the first round. Bryant defeated Ray in a hard fought British Rounds Match in the semi-finals. In the finals, Bryant defeated Warren in a Lucha de Apuestas with Bryant's gym on the line. Bryant was able to win the match and in doing so made it so Warren could not challenge for a RAZOR Championship until he won five tag team matches with a partner of Bryant's choosing. That partner? Joey Bryant.
