Los Rebeldes have never been defeated in RAZOR Wrestling. They have ten wins in a row, six of them being Tag Team Title defences. To call them a juggernaut would be...apt. In our main event, Los Rebeldes will look for their seventh defence against the team that they defeated to win the titles in the first place -- Fire Sale. Harvey Francis and Bob Regan have come a long way since that match at Superunknown and following a brawl with the champions two weeks ago in México they feel that it is finally their time to claim the gold.
"The Skid Row Angel" Roxie Dixon crash landed in RAZOR Wrestling recently and she has wasted no time in declaring exactly what she wants. Before a Vanguard Champion was even crowd, Dixon called dibs on the first shot. After a compelling Lucha de Apuestas two weeks ago "The Martyr" Joey Bryant bested Kash Warren to become the inaugural champion. Bryant has no time to savor that victory because he has a hungry young challenger nipping at his heels.
"Bastard" Brogan Duffy has done nothing to hide the fact that he hates CØNTAGIØN and he wants to take the RAZOR World Championship from Jack McGrath. But first there is the matter of Duffy's Campionato Mondiale. Josh Mac, the Irish upstart, is the only member of the feared faction not to hold gold -- World gold. He looks to rectify that in Las Vegas when he faces the biggest challenge of his career in the former GRBG Champion, Duffy.
Two weeks ago in Guadalajara Ripper Hernandez looked poised to dethrone Ollie Maverick for the GRBG Championship in a Bull Rope Match. It's possible that he could have done just that if it were not for the distraction at ringside by the name of "Hell's Heartthrob" Jacky Sweetwater. Sweetwater said that he wanted a crack at Ollie Maverick's title and he had no interest in waiting. He came through the crowd and started harassing Rocky Trashington much to the dismay of Ollie, Ripper, and Ferdinand the bull. Ferdinand chased Sweetwater away and Maverick was able to retain his title. Ripper gets his chance at retribution in Las Vegas but Sweetwater is on a roll. It's highly likely that the winner of this contest finds themselves as the next challenger for "The Manic Marvel's" network gold.
Peregrina Loca was instrumental in helping her protege Araña Oscura dethrone the latter's other mentor for the FLG Campionato Supremo two weeks ago in Guadalajara. This week, Mama sets out on her own as she takes on Vanguard Series semi-finalist, "The Space Shaman" Ace Sky. Sky may have come up on short in the Vanguard Series but a victory over Pera would get his name back into Vanguard Title contention.
"Dreamweaver" Hope Freya is the defacto leader of The 4O8, the last remaining RAZOR Originals that claim loyalty to incarcerated company President Molly Bones. The powers-that-be, The Consortium, have no interest in having Bones' handpicked competitors continuing to compete in RAZOR. But Horado Basa made a deal with Freya and her gang -- if Freya can defeat The Consortium's hand picked champion then perhaps there is a conversation to be had about The 4O8's collective future.
The last time these two teams faced off it was in a triangle tag team match that also involved The Steel Rockers -- which The Foundation won. Insane Fortune has been absent from RAZOR programming as of late but they are looking to get back into the Tag Title hunt. The Foundation had their shot against Los Rebeldes and they came up short. This is a true proving ground match for both teams. Will a Tag Team Title match be in the immediate future for the winners? Sure.
