(The Foundation) Lessons that should not be Televised

{The screen flickers a couple of times and we find ourselves looking at both members of the Shinigami Foundation-Thomas Bane and David Gibson-at their usual spot at the Velveteen Rabbit in New York City. Both men are sitting at the roulette table which is being manned by a man in a black butler's suit with a head covering mask that looks like a mirror globe who is running the table}
Bane: You know, to say that our dear Amanda was correct in her line of thinking because Amanda has always been quite adept at using that strategic mind of hers. We did allow our fury at Harvey and Bob...Fire Sale...to get the better of us when we needed to be focused on the matter at hand which was our shot at the world tag straps here in Razor Wrestling.
Needless to say, that neither myself nor David enjoy being simply called a "win" for those two jabronies in Los Rebeldes del Bien's scrapbook...but it is what it is and very shortly things will be attended to and Fire Sale, don't think that we've forgotten about the bull that you put us through because that'll be addressed shortly.
Now, Kano and Aroa...at this edition of Razor television you have the horrible misfortune of standing between the Foundation and what we really want...and that's both a good and bad thing in this case, isn't David?
Gibson: It's good because we've been wanting to have a solid match to warm us up before the slaughter, Kano and Aroa, and the bad thing is that you're the ones that the front office has offered up for just that purpose since the Fire Sale chickened out of a match against us.
Bane: And that's no lie as Amanda had gone to the front office and said that we in the Foundation wanted a match against the Fire Sale and they "noped out" and chose to fight the tag champions instead...thinking that they could avoid us.
{Bane gets a rather evil smile on his face}
Bane: Silly fools.
Gibson: Exactly, but that isn't distracting us from the two of you in Insane Fortune. Far be it, because if we are going to showcase why we should be at the top of this company's tag team division and not some couple of nobodies. And yes, we fully get that our claim as you could put it hasn't been actually proven in recent weeks and that's on us, that much we can agree on.
But you see that is something that also puts us in a much higher league than the two of you and that is our willingness to admit that when we are wrong and when even the two of us, with our boundless and limitless potential in this very industry, are willing to fight to improve and become even greater than we are. We don’t just go out there, power through everything, and then rest on our collective laurels, decreeing that we’re simply the best because we say that we are, boys. We say that we are one of, if not *THE* best in this industry because of the level of work that Thomas and I put into each and every single match and yes, I’ll fully admit that sometimes even we miss the target and lose, but by losing it allows us to go back and review what we’ve done wrong and improve on what needs to be.
Bane: And on Razor television this week, Aroa and Kano. We want you to give us your best, we want you to fight us just like if you were fighting for the world tag team championships because if you want to see where you are measured against real wrestlers, not the fodder that you’re always facing here in Razor Wrestling week by week…but by two wrestlers who have that international recognition to their names who go around and earn a rep by fighting all over the place.
But understand boys that you are going to lose, no matter what you do in that ring because while you might have the talent or the drive or even the desire…none of it is one tenth the level of what David and I have pumping through our veins, but that does not mean that we don’t want you to fight any less harder, Aroa and Kano. We *want* to be surprised, we *want* you to fight with every single ounce of energy that you can put on out there on that very stage and we *want* a victory that’s in question rather than a guaranteed victory because what is life without a little bit of risk…what is fun without the spice of variety??
Spin the Wheel…
{The minion then spins the roulette wheel and drops a single ball into it}
Gibson: …Make the Deal, Insane Fortune. Because at the show this weekend, the Foundation is going to kick things up more than just a notch because after we tear the house down with the two of you…then we’re going to send a message that’s going to be felt by every team in this company going forward.
People in this company have been treating the tag titles like they are some kind of prize that you get in the bottom of a box of Frankenberry cereal…time to change that world view.
It’s time to change the world view about *EVERYTHING* in Razor Wrestling’s tag division.
So Los Rebeldes del Bien, the two of you had better pay pretty close fucking attention.
Bane: Because unlike the Revolution, this lesson will not be repeated...because violence like this is not usually televised in the so called "civilized" world...
Gibson: So come and witness the reality of your choices. See you at the show, boys.
{The camera then pulls in and focuses on the ball, spinning and spinning and spinning the camera's view slowly but steadily into darkness}
