ÉL QUIERE VENGANZA [DESTRUCTORAS]

The yellow hue takes over your screen because we once again find ourselves in Mexico. Inside FLG we see the trio of Craneo, Calavera, and Araña Oscura seated in the waiting area outside the office of their mentor, FLG Owner Horado Basa. Craneo is particularly salty today, her legs are extended in front of her and she is shaking her left foot quickly. Basa’s secretary is seated at her desk across from the trio and she is snapping her gum loudly. Craneo is staring laser beams at her.

CRANEO: ¡Perra! ¿Cuánto tiempo más vamos a tener que esperar?

Oscura is shocked.

ARAÑA OSCURA: Don’t call her a bitch Craneo! That is jefe’s niece, Adoria!

CRANEO: I don’t fucking care. We should be down in the pit training. You two have a big match this week and I don’t want you to lose – again.

CALAVERA: Neither does jefe. He’s probably going to disown us after we lost last week.

CRANEO: I don’t fucking care. We can’t keep flying back to Mexico every week just to get talked down to. We are never going to succeed in RAZOR if we don’t improve our skills. You especially.

Craneo flashes a glare at Araña, who cowers slightly.

HORADO BASA: (off screen) You should fucking care hija.

The trio turn to see Basa, standing in the doorway to his office.

ADORIA BASA: Él está listo para verte.

CRANEO: Yes we can see that, Adoria. Thank you so much.

HORADO BASA: Do not be angry with her, Craneo. You might not like how she responds. She is a fighter, like the three of you. She might even be better.

Adoria winks at them.

HORADO BASA: Besides, you have bigger problems. Come into my office.

All three Destructoras stand.

HORADO BASA: No. Just Craneo. We have something delicate to discuss.

Both Calavera and Araña look worried as they sit back down. Craneo emits an angry sigh and then walks into Basa’s office. Jefe flashes a stern look at Calavera and Araña before closing the door. Araña turns to her sister and looks as concerned as ever.

ARAÑA OSCURA: What will he do?

CALAVERA: I don’t know. He loves her, nothing bad will happen. On another note, are you ready for Sunday? Craneo was able to beat Ax Rockwell a month ago, he should not be a problem for us.

ARAÑA OSCURA: He does not concern me as much as Alex Kincaid. We threatened his wife and I still don’t feel good about that.

CALAVERA: It’s not about feeling good or just. We needed to send another message. We are always in the wings, waiting to strike out at anyone we choose. No one should feel safe with Destructoras in the building.

Araña takes a moment to consider the question.

ARAÑA OSCURA: I think so.

Calavera slaps her sister. Adoria doesn’t flinch – she smiles. Araña is not taken aback or upset, this is not the first time that her sister has done such a thing.

CALAVERA: We are going to win on Sunday. They are not even a real team. We have sangre antigua flowing through our veins. The Gods look favorably on us when we give them a reason to. Alex Kincaid is blood drunk, he is too angry to think clearly. We need to take advantage of that. Ax Rockwell – he is a broken man. We have every advantage.

ARAÑA OSCURA: I understand…

Calavera grabs Araña forcefully by the shoulder.

CALAVERA: You need to do more than understand. You need to fight harder than you ever have. Can you do that for me, hermana?

ARAÑA OSCURA: Sí. Van a ver lo que vale la sangre antigua.

CALAVERA: This is what I like to hear.

Basa’s office door opens and Craneo emerges. Her expression gives nothing away, she is like stone. Basa follows her out into the waiting reception area.

HORADO BASA: Craneo has a task on Sunday, recompense for your failure last week. She will not be ringside for your match. You two must win alone or else you will return to me next week and we will decide what your future looks like. If you continue to embarrass me, I will make sure that the contracts you signed with that perra Molly Bones are set on fire. Am I understood?

Calavera and Araña both nod. They know better than to speak.

HORADO BASA: Leave me.

The trio regroup and head out of the reception area. Once they are out of ear shot, Calavera stops and turns to Craneo.

CALAVERA: What does he want you to do?

Craneo takes a moment and steels her nerves.
