BACKSTAGE
The scene opens with
Your Hero, and
Mine, standing in front of a Shotgun logo'd backdrop.
MARK STORM: Bonjour Pascal ! Je vois ce que tu as fait là... impressive. Though I've got to admit, I think I can one up you tonight. I've got my boots on and I'm all ready, so let's get it on. Whoever's ready in the back, come outside and join me in the ring, right now.
His signature smirk plasters over his lips as the scene cuts.
SINGLES MATCH
MARK STORM vs. SNACKBAR WILLY
Already standing in the middle of the ring is the big guy known as Snackbar Willy. He paces the ring with a smile on his face, awaiting as a massive pop ensues, emerging from the back is
Your Hero and
Mine, Mark Storm; who keeps himself composed as he stands at the top of the entrance ramp. He can't help but allow his signature smirk to appear upon his lips as he closes his eyes and spreads his arms out wide, soaking in the energy that the audience are giving him as they applaud and cheer.
He begins his walk down the entrance ramp, with a leather coat completing his attire as he comes down the entrance ramp.
"This ain't no place for no hero.
This ain't no place for no better man.
This ain't no place for no hero
To call "home."
At this point, Storm is by the edge of the ring; allowing a smile to embed on his face before he jumps onto the apron and holds onto the ropes, using them to help himself up onto the turnbuckle. He's grinning from ear to ear, soaking in the rest of the cheers coming from the audience, shaking his head sideways as he lowers it, before jumping into the ring.
FIONA METZ: So lemme get this straight, Mark Storm is here tonight competing on Shotgun as well!
DICK DELAURIER: Storm does have his eyes on the Razor Championship and Pascal Gaudin did show out earlier tonight. He said he wants to one up him, so this is his chance.
FIONA METZ: Another big boy for Storm. This is storytelling at it's finest, Dick.
The bell rings and Snackbar Willy immediately makes a move towards Storm, trying to catch
Your Hero, and
Mine, off guard with a shoulder barge. Storm lands on the canvas and Snackbar Willy tries to mount on top of him but Storm manages to evade, scooting himself back into towards the ropes for the break. Snackbar Willy smirks teasing Storm as he backs away, inviting him to engage in a duel. Storm strikes his signature smirk as he rises to his feet and the two men circle the ring, before engaging in a standard collar to elbow tie up.
They jockey in position, fighting for the upper-hand with Storm somehow managing to gain the advantage. Storm locks him into a side headlock slam, tightening the hold as Snackbar Will struggles momentarily. He suddenly forces Storm back into the ropes, managing to break the hold as well as swinging him toward the opposite set. Storm rebounds, greeting Snackbar Willy with a shoulder barge of his own, flooring him.
DICK DELAURIER: It's the battle of the shoulder barges tonight! Meat on meat contact!
FIONA METZ: I see what you did there.
Snackbar Willy looks a little surprised, caught off by the fact Storm managed to shoulder barge him down to the canvas. He gets to his feet, looking to grapple Storm but he evades, ducking underneath as he sets off towards the ropes, springboarding off second rope before delivering a cutter to ground Snackbar Willy to floor him once again!
DICK DELAURIER: Storm Search connects!
Your Hero, and Mine rises to his feet, feeding off the energy of the crowd as he watches Snackbar Willy gradually rise. Storm grabs Snackbar Will from behind and delivers his finishing Storm Strike (Rainmaker) before mounting on top of him, to pick up the 1-2-3!
BIG MOUTH MINDY: Here is your winner, “
Your Hero, And
Mine”, Mark Storm!
Storm rolls to the outside of the ring, clutching onto his arm briefly before brushing off his shoulders as the camera passes, his signature smirk plastering over his lips.
MARK STORM: Pascal, you're next buddy. Une grève de la tempête vous attend...
À BIENTÔT!(A storm strike is waiting for you... SEE YOU SOON!)
He pushes the camera away before high-fiving a few of the fans on his way out.
DICK DELAURIER: Your Hero, and Mine with a win before his match with Pascal but you've got to admit, that arm of his could be damaged, could that be detrimental going into this match?
FIONA METZ: That's the sacrifices you make in pro rasslin', Dick. Storm made quick work of the much bigger Snackbar Willy and Pascal has to take notice of that. Storm's clearly learned from his past duels against Ivanov and Samhain.
DICK DELAURIER: Both of these men are high off confidence, I'm expecting their encounter to be quite the spectacle!
